The japanese word Gassho means "the hands brought together".This meditation can be practised either sitting on the floor or on a chair, every morning or evening for about 20 to 30 minutes, either alone or in a group. No previous knowledge of any meditation techniques is needed.
Close your eyes and relax. Bring your hands in prayer position (Ghasso Mudra) just slightly above heart level. Concentrate on the connecting point of your middle fingers. If this position becomes uncomfortable bring your hands on your lap, but keep the prayer positon and attention focus. Do this meditation exercise daily for at least three months.
