The term "density band" describes a range of vibrational frequencies. The density bands of Reiki healing energies radiate outward from the Buddhic Ascended Master energy level, much like the bands of the visible light spectrum.

All forms of energy have a particular range of vibrational frequency or density ~ minerals, plants, animals, humans, extraterrestrials, celestial Beings, etc.

The following density chart gives you an idea of where along the vibrational frequency spectrum each of the eight density bands of Reiki is located. It also shows how each band goes progressively higher in frequency. This chart is simply to provide a framework for you on this subject.

The band of Reiki energies coming in during a healing session, is a full spectrum of what the practitioner is attuned for, the levels you are able to vibrationally transmit. Much like a rainbow all the healing rays of energy will be flowing into you during a session. So if you are attuned to traditional Reiki, Karuna and Lightarian I & II, all four of these rays will be flowing. However the person you are treating, will only be receptive on the vibrational level that is most appropriate for her and serves the highest purpose of healing during that particular session. So even if the practitioner is able to transmit up to the fourth band on a vibrational level, the person may only be accepting the vibrational energy of a lower band.

Density refers to the etheric vibrational frequency spectrum, organized into various bands or octaves over which all existence is experienced. "Density" denotes a vibrational frequency, not to be confused with "a location in time and space" which the term "dimension" traditionally implies. All forms of energy have a particular range of vibrational density or frequency - minerals, plants, animals, humans, extraterrestrials, celestial Beings, etc.

Density bands describe a range of frequencies...for example, the 4th band of density ranges from 4.0 to 4.99, the 5th from 5.0 to 5.99 and so on. As examples, current human physical bodies function in the 3rd and 4th density bands. Ascended Masters function in 9th, Maitreya functions in 10th, and Universal Source functions in 11th.
