Reiki - Teachings from the HeartTM

Reiki Level II
Stepping Beyond Hands-on

Touching the void
As a Reiki II you have the option now to send Reiki to anything you desire. This can be done either by physical touch if this is possible, or mostly, as the case may be on the mental level with non physical touching.

Your persons need not be physically present for you to serve them in the Name of God. This may be hard to remember, but God will not have His gifts to you limited to the few you actually see. They need you as much, and perhaps even more, at the instant they are sent. You will recognize them in whatever way can be most helpful to both of you. It does not matter how they come. They will be sent in whatever form is most helpful; a name, a thought, a picture, an idea, or perhaps just a feeling of reaching out to someone somewhere.¹

Reiki energy can be directed towards any imaginable problem. It is not limited to individuals.
Reiki can be used to heal relationships, cleanse and bless objects, improve the workings
of balky equipment, and ease the suffering of animals. If you can conceive of a problem, Reiki can be used on it.

For individuals, it is not limited to healing just physical ailments, but is used to heal emotional, mental and spiritual difficulties too. Indeed, Reiki is said to always go to the root of a problem, regardless of any external manifestations or symptoms.

While Reiki is most often used to address physical difficulties, it has also been effective in dealing with emotional problems like grieving, depression, hatred, anger, anxiety and fear. It has been used to ease both the withdrawal symptoms and cravings associated with ending addictions like smoking, alcoholism, and street and prescription drugs abuse. It has been used for phobias and other mental problems.

Reiki's healing energy can be effectively directed towards any person or situation, anytime, anywhere in the world. There is no barrier to Reiki. it goes through walls, casts, etc. Reiki is limitless and it has an intelligence of its own. It always goes where it is needed, working for the highest good of all.

I ask you to start a Distant Healing Journal, where you note to whom you send distant healing, when and for what reason. Note also any feedback that you receive, be it personal, a vision or a feeling.

Using distance techniques

Distant Healing Journal
Your Distant Haling Journal should contain the following:

First of all remember the ethics of asking permission. If the request comes from the same person, the request itself can be considered as permission. However if the request comes from a third person, please ask permission from the person receiving the healing.

If the answer is Yes, always offer the healing for the highest good of the person and all involved. If the answer is No (it does happen, do not be surprised), then you can still offer healing, but you do have to add, that the healing is offered for the highest good of the person and all involved and limited to the amount the person is willing to accept at the time.
