Distance Attunements
If for some reason the attunement cannot be passed on in person, it can also be done at a distance. Reiki, being non local and non temporal, is not bound to time and space. In its limitlessness it will work exactly in the same ways, regardless wether the attunement is passed on in person or at a distance.

The principle for the distance attunement is the same as for all distance work. Intention is the key. Your function in the distance attunement is again one of service, being an instrument. By means of your intention to pass on the attunement to the person, you call on your Reiki guides to help and assist you with your function, and to deliver the sacred Reiki initiation.

The process being the same can be performed in the same way. Your preparation stays the same.    Create a sacred space, offer a prayer, invite your guides and angels. Visualize the person to be initiated sitting in front of you on a chair and perform the attunement as you would with the person being present. You can also go mentally through all the movements. Maybe you create your own distance attunement system.

Thank your guides and helpers when you're done. Trust that the guides are delivering the attunement to perfection. Your newly initiated will have the wonderful Reiki energy available immediately. Instruct her to do a first self healing after the receiving of the distant attunement.
