Teaching Reiki

Having reached Level III in Reiki puts no obligation onto you in regards to teaching Reiki.
You are absolutely free in that choice. Listen to your heart and feel if the thought of teaching Reiki resonates with your Being. You can be a wonderful Reiki III, a wonderful Reiki Master, without teaching Reiki. Be very clear about your choice. There are beliefs that a Reiki III is obligated to teach. Remember, other people have other beliefs. Honour them and follow your own guidance.

There have been many great teachers. There are now many great teachers. And there always will be great teachers. For every teacher, there is a student. For every student, there is a teacher. This relationship is inseparable. We are all students and teachers to one another at the same time.

Teaching is learning
A Course in Miracles tells us that we teach what we need to learn. And we are teaching all the time.

I will give you no handout no direction to teach. This has been done by many. I see no need to repeat that. My believe is, that with the guidelines you've received, the books you have read, the web sites you have looked at, the studies you have done on yourself and in your healing work you are ready to teach Reiki in your very own unique way. That's how Reiki is expanding and growing, by each of you adding your own colour, your personal flavour. By being YOU.

Don't not let your ego lead you into believing that you need more training, more experience, more books, more of this and more of that. You are ready. NOW.

If you feel guided to Mikao Usui's Original Teachings (as taught and preserved by Mikao Usui's Reiki Association, Karuna, Tera-Mai, or Lightarian Reiki^™ - go for it. Find your Reiki path. Remember, whatever you do, let the joy and the excitement in your heart guide you.
For it is through the heart that the light and love in this world is increased.
